- 1 Package Turkey Bacon
- 1 Medium Onion
- 1 14.5 oz can of Diced Tomatoes with garlic and onions
- 1 3/4 cups Vegetable or Chicken Broth
- 3 cups Uncooked Bow-Tie Pasta
- 1/8 tsp Pepper
- Parmesan Cheese
Directions
- In large skillet, cook bacon over medium-high heat, stirring frequently until browned. Reduced heat to medium. Add onions, cook stirring frequently until tender.
- Stir in tomatoes, broth, uncooked pasta and pepper. Heat to boiling over high heat. Reduce to medium heat, cook uncovered, stirring occasionally until pasta is tender and mixture is a thick as you like. You may have to add a little liquid if pasta is to firm. However the texture of the pasta will be a bit firmer because it was cooked in the liquid with the other ingredients.
